Anchor of Hope Publications exists to share Christ-centered writing rooted in Scripture. Our desire is to encourage faith, understanding, and spiritual growth by presenting God’s Word clearly, thoughtfully, and in its proper context.
Through books, reflections, and teaching, we seek to point readers to the hope found in Jesus Christ and the enduring truth of God’s Word. Every work published here is written with prayer, care, and a sincere desire to edify and strengthen the reader.
How These Books Began
I did not set out to be a writer. I spent six years in Thailand engaged in missionary work, seeking to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the Thai people, many of whom were raised in Buddhism and had little knowledge of who Jesus is or what Scripture teaches. My focus during those years was prayer, study, and ministry, not publishing books. Yet about eight months before leaving Thailand, the Lord Jesus began to deal with me about writing. The Lord spoke to me and gave me the names of the two books I was to write: Faith Unto Salvation and A Sure Word of Prophecy. I did not fully understand how or when this would unfold, only that obedience was required. These books were written with a desire to present God’s Word carefully, faithfully, and in its proper context. From beginning to end, the writing and completion of these works took approximately a year and a half.
